3D doubts

Q) A Square ABCD of diagonal 2a is folded along the diagonal AC so that the planes DAC and BAC are at right angles. The shortest distance between DC and AB is
a) √2a      
b)[frac]2[/]3[/frac]a
c) [frac]2[/]√5[/frac]a
d) [frac]√3[/]2[/frac]a

assume that the center of the sq, is origin..

simplifies calculations...

I think

Since diagonal is given u can find out the side length and assuming on vertex to be at the origin U can find equations of lines.Please make sure that three faces of the square should be on xy, yz, xz planes.

Then if u can use skew lines property.

Please check in for the process.
