well . I'd go for Manmohan Singh too . when compared to BJP .
here ( I mean in Karnataka ) it's not doing a good job it allows a bit too much of liberty to people who think they're propagating Hinduism or Indian culture or whatever which  infact they're violating than following . our home minister V.S.Acharya is a stupid git [hide][hide]as is our CM who supports Pramod Mutalik [2] indirectly ,actually the entire BJP govt is behind him here , sort of. communal disharmony has reached an all time high here during the BJP rule .

When Vajpayee was PM , the works he did was very commendable . I'm very proud of one fact , even though he's very fluent in English , he spoke in Hindi in the US parliament when he'd gone there , not in English !He also reduced the loans we had in IMf , but congress have again increased the loans. also the terrorist attacks were more during the Congress rule

He's also done many good works . He implemented the Golden triangle work very good one and brought many developmental work into practice . I wonder why RKMisra joined BJP ??????[7] really confusing [5]

But now , the party is more community based and is not  very good . And definitely I don't want Mayawati as PM !!!!
she'll bring in more reservations :(
the GM ppl are already suffering and are definitely not ready for more .

overall Congress is ok , except the while handling terrorism and economy . off late economy has been steadied . inflation has come down I pray it stays in the -ve zone for some more time. then so some more planning against terror and I'd say let congress be

this year ther is gonna be serious patch ups and negotiations forforming a govt. coz neither BJP nor Cong look even close to gettin a majority So the king-makers are gonna be state parties that will prove Stones in nation's development!!!

see the indian law is that every religion has its own laws

The Muslim personal law board frames some laws
Some are applicable for Hindus.. The most common one is that (HUF) it is the hindu undivided family.


The common civil court virtually strips all religions to have their individual laws

Some of it is already now applicable.. But I dont see too much merit in a common civil law.

The thing is that no common civil law makes India such a unique country.

There flip side, .. The makers of the constitution had thought that they will do away with the individual laws of religions and castes with time.. But that cannot be done even today.. Even then they had difficulties to do it.
